Hello and welcome to my 2 Ringgits’ Worth of anecdotes on the life of a 20-something trying to make it in the big, wild world!
I’ve lived in Jordan (1996), studied in Australia (2008/09), travelled to Cologne (2007), Berlin (2011), Bangalore (2013) and I currently reside in Kajang, a town on the outskirt of the Malaysian capital city, Kuala Lumpur.
Although I like to think it’s temporary (the life and work at the big city of KL), but I figured starting a life as an adult can be quite scary (making my own decisions). Being the control freak I am, I needed an outlet to steer my life; hence the blog.
I write primarily about money management, work and occasionally books and travel. I write as a sort of safekeeping for myself, and I do not suggest readers to use my stories as advice or guidance in making financial/career decision. Nevertheless, I love to share and I welcome your comments!
I currently live in a 3-bedroom apartment, drive a 6-year old Perodua Kancil my mom paid cash for, look after four cats I rescued from the streets and prior to working have enjoyed sponsored tertiary education locally and abroad. I’m blessedly debt-free.
I work as a project management/event planning/conference organising professional and I read, run, hike and listen to music in my free time.
